BHUTAN TRAVEL - INTRODUCTION
If you are planning to travel Bhutan with Third Eye Travel, please go thought the following basic guidelines which help you in final preparation before you travel to Bhutan.
Bhutan, a small country in the Himalaya, also known locally as DRUKYUL (Land of Thunder Dragon), is situated between Tibet Autonomous Region of China and India.
With immense natural scenery, friendly people and several colorful festivals, Bhutan has still remained off the regular touristic destinations from the rest of the world, and unspoiled by outside influences. Bhutan is gifted with breathtaking natural beauty, surrounded by sacred mountains, virgin peaks and holy lakes. It’s beautiful valleys and lush forests are packed with flora and wildlife.
Travel Bhutan gives you an opportunity to experience the fascination of the pure and exotic land, through its ancient fortresses, monasteries, and temples that you find everywhere in the countryside.
More than 90% of the populations of about 800,000 people are farmers in Bhutan who live in small villages, untouched by the outside world.
With its imposing architecture and superb art, for its delightful race of people in their traditional dress, their unique customs, beliefs and life-style are magical and preserved and still practiced in its ancient ways.
Its 46,500 square kilometer of area is covered with not less than 72% of dense forest and jungles; Bhutan has the subtropical jungles in the south to arctic cold of the high Himalayas in the north. Considered as one of the most exclusive tourist destination in the world, Bhutan Travel still retains all the charm of the old world.
Though the Kingdom of Bhutan opened the travel to Bhutan in 1974, it is still controlled by the government of Bhutan. There are some restrictions in Bhutan Travel.
You must go through one of the tour operators to travel to Bhutan. The Tour Operator, who organizes the tour, helps you from getting the Bhutan visa to securing flights to and from Bhutan, which makes a Bhutan travel a lot easier.
