Starting from Chengdu , you will fly over the eastern Himalaya to the mystical Tibetan capital of Lhasa. Your first three days are spent sightseeing in and around Lhasa. Then, you will begin your overland journey back to Kathmandu via Gyangtse, Xigatse, Tingri, Nyalam and Zhangmu.
The distance covered is nearly 621 miles / 1000 km on four wheel drive vehicles and bus.

Day 06 Visit Shakya Monaster. Drive to Old Tingri. Enjoy the views.
Day 07 Drive down to Zhangmu, cross the border and drive to Bhaktapu, a city of devotees.
Day 08 Sightseein tour of Bhaktapur, visit Pashupati and Bodhnath.
Day 09 Transfer to airport for onward flight.
