A long but, scenic drive from Kathmandu ends some eight hours later at Syabrubesi where you will spend overnight on the first day. Trek through Rhododendron and birch forests to the Tamang villages of Barkhu and Syabrubesi and into the Langtang valley. Gaining elevation steadily you will arrive at the village of Kyanjin Gompa and explore the Langshisha Glacier and enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains. Return to Syabru and descend to Barkhu before heading to Kathmandu.
