  • Day 1 Arrive Beijing ()


    Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.


    Day 2 Beijing (B/L)


    Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day city excursion to Tiananmen Square-the largest square in the world, Forbidden City-imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty, and the Summer Place with Lunch at good local restaurants.


    Evening you can choose the Chinese Kungfu show as an optional tour.


    Day 3 Beijing (B/L/D)


    Buffet breakfast at hotel followed by full day trip to the Great Wall at Badaling, the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Way with lunch at local Chinese restaurant. Peking Roasted Duck Dinner.


    Day 4 Beijing/Xian (B/L/D)


    Buffet breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the airport for flight to Xian-the ancient capital of China. Upon arrival meet and transfer to the hotel. Lunch at local restaurant followed by visit to the big wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall. Dumpling Dinner at a good dumpling restaurant.


    Day 5 Xian/Kunming (B/L)


    Buffet breakfast at hotel. Excursion to world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses with circle movie show with lunch at local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kunming. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.


    Day 6 Kunming (B/L)


    One day excursion to Stone Forest, one of China’s most remarkable natural phenomena located 90 km southeast of Kunming.


    Day 7 Kunming/Dali (B/L)


    Buffet breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the airport for flight to Dali by morning flight. Drive to Xizhou and visit the local Bazaar, then go to dock by HORSE carriage. Upon arrival, take the boat and see Cormorant Fishing on Erhai Lake. Lunch at the local Bai’s family followed by the demonstration of Three Flavours of Tea (Sandao Tea ). Visit the Dali old town in the afternoon


    Day 8 Dali/Lijiang (B/L)


    Buffet breakfast at hotel. Drive to Lijiang. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to have lunch at local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Black Dragon Pond, Moon Embracing Pavilion and Dongba Museum, sanctuary of the ancient Naxi culture. Walk about in the old streets of the city.


    Enlisted as World Heritage by UNESCO, Lijiang is a small old town laced with canals and bridges, cobblestone lanes along the river and provide many opportunities to observe the Naxi traditional way of life. In the evening, enjoy a Naxi music concert.


    Day 9 Lijiang (B/L)


    Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with a chair lift ride to discover the much famed thirteen peaks. On the way, visit the Jade Peak Monastery, Baisha village, once the capital of the Naxi Kingdom, famous for its Buddhist frescoes and lively atmosphere.


    Back to Lijiang at the end of the afternoon and time at leisure before dinner. Lunch at local restaurant.


    Day 10 Lijiang/Chongqing/Lhasa (B)


    Buffet breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chongqing and connect the flight to Lhasa, the exciting capital of Tibet.


    Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met at the airport by a representative of Third Eye Travel in Lhasa and transferred to hotel. Evening free.


    Day 11 Lhasa (B)


    Today will be spent exploring palaces. First on your list will be the Potala Palace. The palace of the Dalai Lama , a treasure of Tibetan culture was till 1965 , the seat of both religion and politics in Tibet and quite possibly, the singularly most important building in all Tibet . It was built in the seventh century by Tsongtsen Gampo as a fort and later renovated by the fifth Dalai Lama in the seventeenth century to its present specifications. Your next stop will be Norbulingkha the winter palace of the Dalai Lama which was built in the eighteenth century


    Day 12 Lhasa (B)


    Today you will visit the Drepung monastery . This is the largest monastery in the world and once housed 10,000 monks and nuns. It was built in 1419 and the second , third and fourth Dalai Lamas lived and were entombed here. Your next stop will be the Jokhang Temple. This is the holiest shrine of the Buddha which was brought to Tibet by the Chinese princess “Wen Chen”. You then stop off at Barkhor Bazaar outside the Jokhang monastery. This is a bustling flea market and is, generally, the place to buy souvenirs and meet other tourists.


    Day 13 Lhasa (B)


    Today you will take a day trip to Ganden monastery . This compact monastery was once gutted by fire but the restoration is now complete. Drive back to Lhasa in the afternoon.


    Day 14 Lhasa – Chengdu –U.S. (B)


    Transfer to the airport and fly back to Chengdu and carry on to Hong Kong.
