Arrive in Lhasa, exciting capital of Tibet, go for sightseeing tour of some of the wonderful monuments on earth. Visit the Potala Palace and Norbu Linka, the former headquarters of the Dalai Lama, the Drepung monasteries, Jokhang Temple and colorful Barkhor Bazar.

Lhasa is not just a city, but an insight into Tibetan culture. Experience the impressive cultures and religion before you begin your biking along with the highest elevations, blue lakes, high passes, desert-like plateau and Tibetan villages, where time seems to be a still as opposed to the modern Chinese settlements

Take a side trip to Rongbuk Monastery and Everest Base Camp, and enjoy the spectacular views of Everest, the highest peak in the world. End your biking at Kodari, the border between Tibet and Nepal or drive to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

You will enjoy the views of some of the highest peaks above 8000 meter, Everest, Cho Yu, Makalu, Shisha Pangma and the magical Himalayan range on this trip. The 600 miles biking will go through 4 high passed above 15,500 ft., you will visit some of the monasteries, palaces and meet Tibetan nomads and their yaks along the way.

All the biking is on the paved road, except if you decide to bike to Rongbuk where it’s still the dirt road. This is a very strenuous and physically challenging bike tour. Only the people who have previous experience of long biking, and physically fit should take this trip. The bikers must have the good health, great stamina, endurance and range compatibility with other bikers. You will be biking between 40 to 60 miles a day. Biking per day is between 4 to 6 hours.
