This 11 days Cultural & Heritage tour of Bangladesh, not only provides you the opportunity to experience the daily life, culture and heritage of the people in Bangladesh, you also get a great opportunity to see the countryside, rural tribe and Sundarbans Forest closely.
Begin your tour in Dhaka, the hustling and bustling capital of Bangladesh. Take a steamer to Mongla enjoying the countryside along the river ways. Take an excursion to Sundarbans forest, one of the world heritage sites. Continue to Bagehat, where you will see the Grameen Bank founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Yunus.
The tour also takes you to the historical town of Khulna, Rajshahi . Before you return to Dhaka, visit Bogra & Ragpur and enjoy the countryside.
Upon arrival at airport in Dhaka, you will be met and transferred to hotel.
Later sightseeing tour of the city, which includes Parliament building (outside), Dhaka University campus Dhakeswari Temple, Star Mosque, Shakhari Bazar, Pink Palace etc., and transfer to Sadarghat river port to catch the paddle steamer (rocket).

Breakfast on rocket. Today you will spend the whole day on the boat enjoying the riverine beauty and the countryside along the river ways. The Steamer will have port of call to all important port towns on its route.
In the evening you will arrive at Mongla.

Early breakfast at hotel, and then whole day excursion to Sundarbans forest with locally hired motorboat. Today you will explore the Sundarbans, the World Heritage Site, which includes Karamjal Wildlife Breeding Centre.
Back to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast drive to Bagerhat (1 hrs/ 52km), and experience the local villagers' micro credit program of Grameen Bank founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus & explore the Mosque City; 60-domed Mosque, Tomb of Khan Jahan (builder of the Mosque), 9-domed Mosque, Thakur’s Pond.
Later drive to Khulna (45mins / 30km) and check-in to hotel for overnight.

After Breakfast, drive north towards the university town of Rajshahi (6 hrs / 295 km) on the bank of the Padma River. Located among the landscapers of the north western corner of Bangladesh, close to the border with India, Rajshahi enjoys a reputation as the centre of the countries silk industry. En route visit the lalon shrine, a famous poet/singer born in kushtia in 17th century. Now the city is known as a city of lalon music. Lunch will be served with songs performed by the lalon followers.
From Kustia , drive to the Puthia, a home of terracotta temples providing you with a fascinating destination for the afternoon. Little known and rarely visited , the remarkable collection of atmospheric ruins include a number of bangle and Chu-chala style temples dedicated to Shiva Govinda, Annika . The town is also a home to impressive, which used to be maharanis palace.
Later return to Rajshahi in the evening .

After breakfast, drive to Gaud (Chapai Nababgonj - 40km / 1 hr), occupied a great importance mainly for its historical mosques than any other area. These mosques were built during the rule of Muslim Sultanate in the late 15th century AD. Most of them are located in the western part of Bangladesh. Some of them include Chotosona Mosque, Toha Khana Mosque, Darasbari Mosque.
Drive back Rajshahi (40km / 1 hrs), explore silk factory & showroom. Evening relaxed on bank of mighty river Ganges.

After breakfast drive Bogra (2.5hrs / 150 km) , en-route visit Temple city-Putia (45 mins / 32 km) to explore Mahasthan ruins and then proceed to Bogra.

After breakfast drive to Paharpur (2.5hrs / 130 km) to explore the Paharpur Buddhist Monastery.
Return to Bogra later in the afternoon.

After breakfast proceed to Kantanagar to visit Kantajee Temple (4 hrs / 185 km) to explore Kantajee’s Temple, Raaj Bari & Ramsagar.
Afternoon drive back to Rangpur (1.5 hrs / 80 km.) and overnight at Rangpur.
Early breakfast at hotel and drive to Dhaka (6.30 hrs / 340 km), en route visit a Handloom weaving village in Sirajjong.
Continue driving to Dhaka via Jamuna Bridge over mighty river Jamuna.
Upon arrival, check-in to hotel, and overnight at Dhaka.
Transfer to airport and return to U.S. or extend your trip to India, Bhutan, Thailand or Myanmar.
