The trek starts with a flight to Lukla and passes through beautiful Sherpa villages of , Namche, Thame, Kunde and Khumjung to Thyangboche in the lap of the highest mountains on earth. However, the trip is not only about mountains. In its spiritual aspect it will visit the most important Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries in this part of the world where you will have the opportunity of meeting locals as well as monks who live and study and meditate in among these giants of the Himalaya. Beautiful, multi-hued prayer flags, prayer wheels and intricately carved Mani stones line every hilltop, rock wall and trail side singing prayers to the gods with every breeze and every passing traveller.
Landing at the air strip of Lukla, set off up the Dudh Kosi Valley to discover and learn about the Sherpa way of life. The trip visits the villages and monasteries of Phakding, Namche, Thame, Khunde and Khumjung, Phortse, Pangboche and Thyangboche.
