This is a great combination of adventure, nature, culture and volunteering to help the locals. On this three-day trek, you will be guided through the picturesque regions of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
Enjoy the surrounding beauty, stay in an ethnic village and teach local school. The gorgeous greenery and nature help you get close to the environment. There is much of Vietnam yet to be discovered! the wonders for yourself!
- Day 01 Hanoi - Nam Son - Pu Luong ( 5 hour trek)

- Day 05 Kho Muong - Mai Chau, transfer back to Hanoi
Day 01 Hanoi - Nam Son - Pu Luong ( 5 hour trek)
Depart from your Hanoi hotel at 7:00 transferring to Mai Chau. Enjoy the drive with spectacular views. Start trekking from Nam Son and into Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
This is a wonderful trek to Nu Village. Our host family will welcome us when we arrive.
Free time to take rest and have a shower before having a traditional dinner.
Overnight Homestay.
Day 02 English teaching (4 hours)
Breakfast at the homestay, then a short walk to the school Get aquainted with the teachers and the students, then we will spend 2 hours teaching English . Same amount of time in the afternoon to spend time with the class helping them to improve their English.
Lunch and dinner at the same homestay of the same village of Nua.
Day 03 English teaching (5 hours)
Today is our second day of teaching. We will have had time to revise our lesson plans if needed. Today take advantage of the added confidence enhancing interacion with some outdoor games.
Day 04 Nua trek to Kho Muong village (~ 5 hour trek)
Have breakfast at Homestay, then say goodbye to your new friends and hosts. We will make a quick stop at the school before starting our trek again. From Nua Village we travel 4 km to Hin Village.
We will continue and take opportunities to cool down in local streams, pass limestone mountains, explore caves and visit other villages. Picnic lunch enroute.
Overnight in Khu Muong village, probably one of the most picturesque villages in Vietnam.
Day 05 Kho Muong - Mai Chau, transfer back to Hanoi
Life starts early here, so do take the opportunity to stroll around the village before having breakfast. At 8:00 am we start our trek. Today we have a short trek of 1 hour.
We hike up to Dong Dieng village and stop for a short rest to experience the local daily life. From here our driver will pick us up and take us to Mai Chau for lunch.
After lunch, free time to walk around the village, then transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive back about 6:00 pm.
