Sikkim Village Tour and Trek

This itinerary is built around a moderate trek that takes you through villages in West & South Sikkim. The trail passes through quaint Sikkimese villages, terraced fields, lush cardamom plantations, across mountain streams and occasionally passing motor roads.

The itinerary is designed to offer Sikkim and its people at a close interactive range making it a unique and a memorable cultural experience. The altitudinal variation of the trail ranges from 10758 ft/ 3280 mtrs to 21561 ft / 6560 mtrs with day temperature between 80 D.F. during the day to a minimum of 50 D.F. The tour portion includes Darjeeling-“The Queen of the Himalayas” renowned for its tea gardens, the Himalayan mountaineering Institute, the sunrise over the Himalayas from the Tiger Hill and much more. It also includes Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, and South Sikkim around Ravangla.
