Then you visit the amazing Gun-Galuut, home to many endangered species of wildlife.
Landscape and cultural sightseeing blend easily in Mongolia – you will have the chance to visit families of nomads, remote Buddhist monasteries and traditional events, and to take part in horse-riding or guided walking if you wish – there are also endless opportunities for photography.

Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, city sightseeing:
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, your guide and driver will meet us at the airport and transfer you to hotel. After checking in, we take a tour of the city, including the Gandan Buddhist Monastery, Museum of Mongolian National History and Genghis Monument on the Sukhbaatar Square.
Day 2. Ulaanbaatar – Elsen Tasarkhai.
After breakfast , drive to Karakorum, the ancient capital city of Mongolia through the rolling steppes. Stop at Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes and Khogno Khaan National park. Stay at friendly Camp.
Day 3. Elsen Tasarhai–Karakorum– Khar Balgas.
After breakfast at the tourist camp, drive for 1 hour to Karakorum and visit the legendary Erdene Zuu Monastery from the 16th century and its surroundings: the ruins of Tumen Amgalant Palace of Ogoodei Khaan, the Turtle monuments and the Phallic Rock.
Visit the beautiful Khar Balgas ruins from the Uigur state. Overnight.
Day 4. Karakorum – Hustai National Park.
Drive to the east toward Ulaanbaatar. Stop at Hustai national park, where we’ll view the famous wild horses the Takhi aka the Przewalski horse in the wild from the closest distance, you can also see other animals like marmot and Red deer. Hustai camp.
Day 5. Hustai – Gun-Galuut.
Drive to the amazing Gun-Galuut via Ulaanbaatar for some 3 hours. Arrive in the reserve and transfer to Steppe Nomads tourist camp.
Enjoy the wilderness and the view of the steppes. Hiking along the river Kherlen and optional kayaking on the river. Steppe Nomads camp.
Day 6. Gun-Galuut.
Drive or hike or ride horses to Mt. Baits to view the rare gorgeous Argali Wild mountain sheep. On the way we will see the endangered beautiful White Napped Crane and the Black Stork. Visit a nomadic family and see their lifestyle.
Day 7. Gun-Galuut – Ulaanbaatar.
Get back to Ulaanbaatar, transfer to hotel. Visit Bogd Khaan’s Palace Museum and a traditional folklore concert.
Day 8. Departure from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Transfer to airport and fly out.
