The tour begins in Kunming with the sightseeing tour of Stone Forest, the World class Landscape Museum with countless stone pillars weathered into countless bizarre shapes. Wander the ancient streets of the Dali, and witness the Bai people with their ancient and fascinating culture. The tour also takes you to Lijiang & Zhongdian ( also known as Shangri La) where you will discover the mystery of Tibetan Buddhism by visiting the Gedan Songzanlin Monastery, the Napa Hai Grassland and even a Tibetan family

DAY 1 Arrive Kunming
Upon arival in Kunming, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. If time permits, visit the Flower and Bird Market in the old part of town.
Dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 2 Kunming
After Breakfast, full day tour to Stone Forest, known as ‘First wonder of the world’ one of the most important attractions of Yunnan Seven star Yi people’s village.
Lunch (famous local roast duck)
DAY 3 Kunming/Dali
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Dali.
Upon arrival, discover the Bai minority villages of Xizhou, famous for the architecture of its residences and Zhoucheng where you will visit its local temple and a family tie-dye processing workshop.
In the afternoon, reach the shore of the Erhai Lake and take a glimpse at the majestic 3 Pagodas before a cruise on Erhai Lake. Lunch en route and dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 4 Dali/Lijiang
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Lijiang via the new road and visit the Black Dragon Pond, Moon Embracing Pavilion and Dongba Museum, sanctuary of the ancient Naxi culture.
Walk aroun the old streets of the city. Enlisted as World Heritage by UNESCO, Lijiang is a small old town laced with canals and bridges, cobblestone lanes along the river and provide many opportunities to observe the Naxi traditional way of life.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. After dinner, enjoy a Naxi music concert.
DAY 5 Lijiang
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with a chair lift ride to discover the much famed thirteen peaks. On the way, visit the Jade Peak Monastery, Baisha village, once the capital of the Naxi Kingdom, famous for its Buddhist frescoes and lively atmosphere.
Back to Lijiang at the end of the afternoon and time at leisure before dinner. Lunch en route and dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 6 Lijiang/Shigu/Zhongdian
In the morning, drive to Shigu Visit the First Bend of Yangtze River and Tiger Leaping Gorge.
Continue 105 km to Zhongdian (Capital city of Deqen Tibetan Auto Pref) where is close to Tibet and known as Shangri-La/a hidden paradise in James Hilton’s 1993 Novel – Lost Horizon.
DAY 7 Zhongdian
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, Visit the old town of Dukezong, Drive 30 km to Napa Lake where you will can have a walk around. Visit Grand Gedan Songzang Linsi, back to the city and pay a visit to Tibetan family.
DAY 8 Zhongdian/Kunming/Departure
Take Zhongdian – Kunming morning flight, visit Yunnan Provincial Museum. Take a walk in the old city of Kunming, local bird and flower market- the famous city’s biggest most attractive shopping market.
After Lunch transfer to airport for your next destination.
